our founder

Dahlia Quintanilla

Hi, I'm Dahlia.

I carry Rarámuri lineage and offer this work as part of my own reconnection to ancestral ways of learning. Descended from the people of the Copper Canyon lands of Chihuahua, known as those who run on foot, who run ceremonially to return to the body, the earth, and the rhythm the mind forgets.

I name this because this work didn't comes from a living tradition of cyclical time, reciprocity, and right relationship that colonization tried to sever and could not.

One year in the classroom taught me that the design was the problem, not us. I've spent the decade since re-weaving a new, yet ancient, design in classrooms and in community.

I serve as a curriculum designer, facilitator, mentor, restorative circle keeper, somatic movement practitioner, and founding steward of the Liberated Learning Institute. We serve parents, teachers, humans who care, organizations, and schools.

I'm grateful you're here.

The Lineage

I've been in public schools since 2014 and hold an m.ed. in curriculum and instruction and am a certified somatic movement practitioner

If you're ready for a liberating, restorative, humanizing approach, I'd love to connect.
