Lighthouse Learning Foundations

Sending care, hope, and inspired action your way as we continue to navigate the waves of individual and collective change, healing, and transition.

It’s a lot… deep breath.and we are built for these times.

What We’re Co-Creating

This is an invitation to be in liberation-centered community and be the first to implement the practices that bring The Lighthouse Learning Model™ to life.

During the month of March, we’ll gather every Sunday morning at 11am CST for embodied, experiential learning.

We’ll explore the four pillars – Relational Ecology, Embodied Learning, Restorative Culture, and Reciprocal Belonging – and in our fifth week, we’ll gather to reflect and witness our collective wisdom.

This is for you if…

  • You’re a parent who knows your child needs something radically different than what systems offer
  • You’re an educator holding the tension of creating healing spaces inside institutions designed to harm
  • You’re a facilitator dreaming of community learning spaces where bodies, ancestors, and earth are honored
  • You homeschool, unschool, or are dreaming of starting something new and need a framework and community
  • You work with children and young people and know, in your bones, that we all deserve so much better than colonized education
  • You’re exhausted from systems that were never designed for your liberation
  • You’re ready to practice something different – and you know you can’t do it alone

This is for those ready to practice.

You’ll actually DO the things. In your body, within your context, and with support.

Tangible outcomes

By the end of this cohort, you’ll have:

Mapped your learning village – the humans, ancestors, land, and practices that hold you

Designed an embodied learning experience – something you can implement immediately in your context

Practiced restorative language and repair – you’ll have the language and the somatic capacity to stay in relationship when conflict arises

Created your Lighthouse Learning rhythm – a sustainable plan that honors nervous systems and the season of life we’re in within our contexts

Built your regulation toolkit – practices you can return to when dysregulation comes

Written your Learning Manifesto or Lighthouse Commitment – the vision and values that will guide you forward

Established a personal somatic practice – because you cannot hold space you haven’t first created within yourself

Our ancestors remind us: we don’t have to carry this vision alone.

We’ll be in community with others walking this path.

We’ll witness, hold space for each other, and remind each other of our core light and purpose.

Maybe you’re exhausted and grieving what education has become.

Angry at the systems that keep harming the people we love.

And maybe, you’re also hopeful.

Feeling the call. Ready to move from dreaming into doing.

If this is you – if you’re reading these words and something in your body is saying yes, this, now – then know, you are not alone.

We are the momentum co-creating a more healed, whole way of learning and being together.

Education, when re-indigenized in practice, nourishes our collective liberation and all present and future generations of life.

Feel free to share this with your revolutionary friends.

Whisper to the ones who are tired. The ones who are dreaming. The ones who are ready to practice liberation.

We need each other.

And we most definitely are not alone.

Love,
Dahlia
